Planning to tow a 5th wheel with your Softopper\u00ae? Good news\u2014all Softopper models are compatible, with the exception of older Ridgeline tops (which retract backwards).<\/p>

When the Softopper\u00ae is fully retracted, you may want to remove the back half of your bedrails to avoid any scratching during tight turns. Here\u2019s how to do it:<\/p>

  1. Remove the clamps securing the back half of the bedrails.<\/p><\/li>

  2. Loosen the clamps on the front half slightly to allow for some movement.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Press the pushpin to slide off the rear portion of the rails.<\/p><\/li>

  4. Store the rear bedrails in a safe spot during travel.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>
